Day 9, part 4: (finding sunset)

We’re finally up to date. I have a lot of updates from today. 9, in fact, you should read all of them.

After a meal of Burger King, we drove back into Arches in search of the sunset. We took a trail up towards Double-O Arch, walked on a closed trail, and still didn’t find the sunset. We did find, however, a beautiful sight in ailing light (hurray for rhymes). To the south, we saw the mountains with clouds and sun shining on them. To the north, a single rock blocked the sun, haloing it gloriously.

Geez, I’ve been writing since 11 this morning. I’m tired, and we have to explore Dead Horse point. Pictures are forthcoming. Read the last few updates. We are back up to date.
